The government is considering examining double shift for CATs to further expedite disposal of cases,” Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions V Naryanasamy said at a conference of the administrative tribunals here.<br /><br />Referring to a large number of vacant posts in CATs, he said the government has reviewed the system to check delay in filling up the vacancies.<br /><br />The government is committed to providing all support to the Tribunal and the issues related to it are being put on fast-track for resolution, he added.<br /><br />Inaugurating the conference, Justice Dalveer Bhandari of Supreme Court said CATs have functioned as a “viable substitute to the High Courts.”<br /></p>
