The villagers on Monday complained of vomiting and diarrhoea. They are undergoing treatment in the government hospital.
A recurring issue
The taluk health officials said that the incidents of water contamination have been recurring in the village.
He said the water contamination and unhygienic conditions in the village are said to be the reasons for increasing incidents of illness among the residents.
