Devaraj, father of the girl Sangeetha, had filed a habeas corpus petition seeking that his daughter who had gone missing be produced.
He stated that his daughter was kidnapped by Ranganathaswamy. After learning that girl was produced before the Magistrate, Justice Shylendrakumar lashed out at the police: “Who told you to produce a minor girl before the Court?”
The court handed over the custody of the girl to her father and sent the boy to judicial custody till Nov 29.
