Chief Minister Yeddyurappa will lead a delegation comprising Industries Minister Murugesh Nirani and senior officers of Department of Industries and Commerce to China. As per the tentative tour programme the delegation will be in China in the first week of September.
That will be followed by visits to Japan, UAE and USA. The CM would not accompany the delegations to these countries. A team of officers of the department will be visiting Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai in September and October to hold meetings with investors.
The department is also coming up with a website on GIM and a film on promoting investments in the State.
