Bellary MP J Shantha, who is also Sriramulu’s sister, said she would not remain in politics without her brother and that there was no going back on supporting him.
However, MLC Mrutyunjaya Jinaga has said the episode will have a happy ending as Sriramulu himself will return to the party.
He remained firm on his support for Sriramulu. Reacting to this, State BJP President K S Eshwarappa ruled out re-inducting Sriramulu into the party and said that Jinaga was trying to confuse the voters.
Sriramulu has questioned the rationale of taking action against his supporters, while sparing those ministers and MLAs who skipped Advani’s rally in Bangalore recently.
