Addressing reporters, he said the Congress leaders had spoken lightly about the JD (S) for extending its support to Priya Krishna in Govindrajnagar. The JD (S) decided to support the Congress in Govindrajnagar to prevent division of ‘secular’ votes, and the decision yielded good results, he added.
He flayed BJP State unit President D V Sadananda Gowda’s remarks calling the JD(S) party an ‘outfit of terrorists’ and challenged the saffron party government in the State to recommend banning the party to the Centre if it believed so.
