‘CMS Festival’
Jain University will be organising the ‘CMS Festival 2012’ from January 6 to February 23. The festival is so far one of the longest inter-collegiate fests in India running for almost a month.

The festival will have theatre, media, cultural, and management programmes. Students from more than 75 colleges rom across India will be taking part in this extravaganza.

The ‘CMS Festival’ is an amalgamation of four major national festivals — Abhinaya, ‘Threshold’, Lasya and ‘Precipice’ — hosted annually by Jain University-Centre for Management Studies. The new fest format combines education and fun and explores different facets of a human being that complement one another: the professional,  aesthetic and personal excellence. The finals will held at an international destination.

Abhinaya, the national theatre festival, will bring colleges, amateur and non-professional groups on a single platform. It is a competition of short plays in Kannada and Hindi and is scheduled to be held from January 6 to 8.

‘Threshold’ is the national-level management festival organised exclusively for the first-year BBM students that redefines business in its unconventional format, theme, quality of competition and events.

‘Threshold’ unfolds on January 31. Lasya, the cultural festival is a platform to channelise the varied talents of students. Lasya will be held on February 1  and 2. ‘Precipice’ is a week-long international management festival that will be taking place from February 18 to 23 in Milan, Italy. It allows every management student to aspire to conquer the summit of business excellence.
