Maradi Ramesh of Hospet moved the High Court on Wednesday alleging that Singh and his three family members “flouted with impunity” the permit issued by the RTAs in Bellary and Hospet to ply private buses on specific routes.
In the writ petition, Ramesh alleged that SVK, a firm promoted by Singh and his relatives — Pruthvi Raj Singh, B P Eshwar Singh, and S P Vinod Singh — has been “illegally and clandestinely” operating bus services for the last 20 years on the routes earmarked for the State transport vehicles and caused a “great loss” to the NEKRTC.
