Skating camp concludes

 Speaking at the valedictory of district roller skating summer camp organised by Kodagu District Skating Association, he said in spite of lack of state of the art stadium, Kodagu has produced considerable number of athletes.

Kodagu district Roller Skating Association President Jeevan Chinnappa said realising the contributions of Shankar to the field of sports, District Stadium Committee has decided to name one of the bus shelters in his name.

He urged the government to consider his name for the ‘Dronacharya’ award.
Skating trainer Kumbugowdana Jagadeep, Association members Ashok, Nanaiah and others took part.
