Moily said the top brass in the department were of the opinion that there was no case against the actor on charges of terrorism. “The Solicitor General was consulted with regard to the Sanjay Dutt case and he was of the opinion that there is no case against the actor,” said Moily, while briefing mediapersons here on the development projects undertaken at Chikkaballapur constituency. A daily had reported on Wednesday that the Centre proposed to pursue the case by approaching the Supreme Court to challenge the dropping of the TADA charges against the actor.
