Batting first, Bangalore Sports CC rode on Sunil’s (103) century and cameos from Deepak (30) and Jaiprakash (30) to post 259 for nine in the allotted 50 overs. A Kushal (4/19) and A Ramesh (3/41) were the pick of the bowlers for Friends CC.
In reply, Friends CC’s Jagadish (27) and Raghavendra (34) managed to gather some runs but it was not enough to stop Bangalore Sports CC from bowling them out for 135 in 42 overs. Vignesh Nag (4/18), Chethan (2/23) and Sunil (2/27) scalped the wickets for Bangalore Sports CC.
