Panna Gill, who was one of the top seven finalists of the second season of ‘Indian Idol’ in 2006, is now all set to come up with his second music album called Heeriye.

Harpreet Singh has composed the music for the album which is has seven romantic songs. While Panna’s first music album was titled Panna and consisted of Hindi songs, with music composed by Mani Shankar, Heeriye is in Punjabi.

Though Panna had received around 15 offers to act in TV serials, he has been turning them down politely because he is keen on acting only in films, if he gets the right opportunity. But the young singer is quick to confess that his first love is singing and has made him popular all over the world today.

Panna adds that besides anchoring a TV show as a suave host, he would also love to try his hand at playing an out-and-out negative role because he feels that it will give him more scope to prove himself as an actor. Panna also recently said that ‘Why This Kolaveri Di’ is a hit because Dhanush’s style of singing matched the mood of the track.
