Telefunken storm into summit tie

Priyank Tehlan struck a half-century as Telefunken Cricket Club scored a hard-fought two-wicket win over Collage Group to march into the final of the 16th Sahibzada Ajit Singh cricket tournament here on Thursday.

Batting first, Collage Group failed to post a challenging total, getting bowled out for 187 in 39.3 overs. Paras Dogra top-scored for them with a fine 76.

Despite chasing a modest total, Telefunken kept losing wickets at regular intervals before Tehlan’s timely 64 carried them home in 38.4 overs with two wickets to spare.
