Man attempts suicide at Metro station, escapes with injuries

A 25-year-old youth today allegedly tried to commit suicide by jumping before a Metro train at the Chandni Chowk station this evening.

The youth, whose identity has not been ascertained yet, jumped before the train at the station at 5.30 PM this evening, but escaped with injuries as an alert driver applied brakes immediately.

The youth was then taken to a hospital, sources said, adding that services were not affected
