JOIN US'Amy and I? Keep guessing'
Actor Prateik refuses to divulge whether rumours that he is dating his Ek Deewana Tha co-star Amy Jackson are true or not.
“Whether it is true or false, I think it is for me and Amy to know and for the whole world to keep guessing,” the actor said at a promotional shoot of the Gautham Menon-directed film, releasing on February 17.
Prateik and Amy, a British model, have been spotted together a lot, adding fuel to the fire about their relationship status.
However, the only subject Prateik preferred to talk about was his character in the film. “I am playing the character of a middle-class Maharashtrian boy who is around 25 years of age and wants to become a film director. Then Amy’s character enters his life and he falls in love at first sight and then he wants both the things. He wants to become a film director and get his love as well,” said Prateik, who was last seen in ‘My Friend Pinto’.
Prateik, son of actor Raj Babbar and late actress Smita Patil, made his Bollywood debut with Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na in 2008. Since then, he has starred in films like Dhobi Ghat, Dum Maaro Dum and Aarakshan. He is also filming for Isaaq, an adaptation of Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’.
