JOIN USA 40-year old man from Mulbagal taluk was killed on the spot and another person, who was riding pillion, sustained severe injuries in head-on collision between a lorry and a two-wheeler at Basavarajakhandrika in Chittur district, Andhra Pradesh.
The deceased has been identified as Ramachandrareddy, son of Gopal Reddy who is a resident of Anki Reddy Hosahalli in Gokunti of Mulbagal taluk. Gangulappa (45), who was riding pillion, sustained injuries.
The accident occurred when they were on their way to Palamaneru town to pay insurance premium on Wednesday evening, according to Peddapanjani Police Sub-Inspector Laxmikanta Reddy.
A speeding lorry rammed into their two-wheeler near a poultry in Basavarajakhandrika in Chittur district, Andhra Pradesh. The body was handed over to the relatives after post-mortem.
