<p>A 40-year old man from Mulbagal taluk was killed on the spot and another person, who was riding pillion, sustained severe injuries in head-on collision between a lorry and a two-wheeler at Basavarajakhandrika in Chittur district, Andhra Pradesh. <br /><br />The deceased has been identified as Ramachandrareddy, son of Gopal Reddy who is a resident of Anki Reddy Hosahalli in Gokunti of Mulbagal taluk. Gangulappa (45), who was riding pillion, sustained injuries. <br /><br />The accident occurred when they were on their way to Palamaneru town to pay insurance premium on Wednesday evening, according to Peddapanjani Police Sub-Inspector Laxmikanta Reddy. <br /><br />A speeding lorry rammed into their two-wheeler near a poultry in Basavarajakhandrika in Chittur district, Andhra Pradesh. The body was handed over to the relatives after post-mortem.</p>
