Directed by Samudrakani, the film centres around the the aspirations of three friend. Abhinaya plays the character of Pavithra in the movie.
She has also landed herself a plum role as the female lead in acclaimed Tamil director Sasi's forthcoming film.

Her father Anand Verma, also an artist who has featured in many Tamil and Telegu films, said that Samudrakani and Sasi approached her for roles after seeing her photo in an advertisement company profile and had assured him that his daughter could effectively enact the roles, even when he told them about her impairment.
"I told Samudrakani of Abhinaya's problem but he expressed confidence that he can make her act and asked me not to worry about it and signed her up for the film," Verma said.

Sasi, who was recently adjudged the best director in the Ahmedabad film festival for his critically acclaimed 'Poo,' has featured Abhinaya as the female lead in his next film.
And the teenager is also scheduled to play the role of a sister in the Telegu remake of 'Nadodigal' and is likely to be retained for the Hindi and Kannada versions too.

The collective efforts of the director, her mother Hemalatha and the determination of the actor herself ensured that she did most of her parts without retakes.
Years of therapy and training had helped Abhinaya master the sign language and lip reading in English, Verma said, adding that she had also undergone an operation, which helped her hear with the help of a machine.

Director Samudrakani also gave her dialogues in advance, which she would write in English and practice with the help of her mother. Her co-stars on the set also help her with her dialogues.

Abhinaya, who loves pets and sudoku, discontinued her studies at class 10 and is now focussing on her career.
On casting her as the heroine in his next film, Sasi expressed confidence that she would essay her role with ease and give her shots in a single take.
