The recent Shahrukh Khan-Shirish Kunder slapgate and their subsequent patch up reinforces the fact that in showbiz, there are no permanent friends or foes.

Bollywood celebrities have had their share of happy and dramatic moments, with blown out spats between established stars and filmmakers for long. While some buried the hatchet and are friends again, others are still at loggerheads.

Choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan's husband Shirish Kunder was allegedly punched and slapped by Shahrukh Khan him at a private party after he blasted the superstar's movie 'Ra.One' as  "150 cr firework fizzle".

The fight created national headlines and within a day the two patched up, burying aside their differences.

The fall out between Farah and Shahrukh began when she started her third film 'Tees Maar Khan' with Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan. And with the alleged assault on Shirish things seemed to have worsened but both SRK and Farah finally let bygones be bygones after much mud slinging.

Another much talked about feud is between Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan. In 2008, at Salman's then girlfriend Katrina Kaif's birthday bash a heated argument and disagreement between the Khans created a rift between the two.

Till date, there are several unconfirmed stories floating around and nobody knows what exactly happened at the party.

Salman and Vivek Oberoi, former boyfriends of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, are also at a cold war for a long time.

In 2003, Vivek called a press conference claiming a drunk Salman had called him up 41 times and abuse and threatened to come over to his house and kill him over his friendship with Aishwarya Rai. That was the beginning of an enstranged relationship which has continued till date.

Vivek, whose career suffered badly after the fight, also apologized to Salman, but the latter did not acknowledge the gesture. During an award function, Salman took dig at Sanajy Leela Bhansali's film 'Guzzarish', starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya. Salman made a spiteful comment regarding the film saying, it wasn't even watched by dogs.

Salman was Bhansali's favorite at one point of time and had cast him in 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' and 'Khamoshi'.

Though Bhansali did not say anything but the lead actor of the film, Hrithik slammed Salman over his comments.

"Its not heroic to laugh or make fun of a filmmaker just because his BO collections are not up there with yours. 'Guzaarish' is a super success in its own way. In my opinion a hero never gloats. When you are super successful, it should in fact make you more gracious and loving," Hrithik had said.

The actor later regretted taking the matter with Salman publicly.
However, when Salman was scheduled to fly off to US last year to undergo treatment for his nerve disorder, Hrithik, who had never been too close to the 'Dabanng' star dropped by to wish the ailing actor good health.

But Bhansali and Salman have not patched up yet. "No, we have not patched up yet. Salman is in his own space. I am in mine. I have never spoken a word against him to the media. And I never will. He is in a great space right now and I want him to be happy. However, we are not in touch," Bhansali had said.

The battle between Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan, revolving around the number one slot in the industry is constantly renewed with the two accomplished stars taking potshots at each other. Even recently, Aamir took a dig at Shahrukh stating he rightly deserved the Golden Kela Award for the worst actor.

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and actor-producer Arbaaz Khan had indulged in a public war of words on a micro blogging site after the former's brother Abhinav was dropped from directing the sequel to 'Dabangg'.

Anurag had said on Twitter, "Salman Khan thinks he made my brother's life. Hope he does the same for Arbaaz when he does Dabangg 2. All The Best (sic)." Not the one to be left behind, Arbaaz too posted his displeasure, saying, "Instead of GRATTITUDE some people show ATTITUDE. Wah kya zamana aa gaya hai. Time will tell. Kabhi asliat ko bahar aane mein time lagta hai (sic)."

But the two resolved all differences and patched up at a party earlier this month.
Arbaaz posted a picture of himself and Anurag, saying, "Met Anurag Kashyap at Farhan's party after his twitter outburst. Had a long chat. All izz well now."
Filmmakers Karan Johar and Ram Gopal Varma were also engaged in a verbal fight ever since Varma provoked Johar by expressing his desire to remake Mani Ratnam's 'Raavan' as 'My Name Is Raavan'.

"I want to remake Raavan and I want to request Mani to remake (Ram Gopal Varma Ki) Aag. I have got a better idea... I will make My name is Raavan and Mani should make Raavan Ki Kurbaan," Varma had posted on Twitter.

The comment was an indirect dig at Johar's movies 'My Name is Khan' and 'Kurbaan'.
Johar, who was infuriated by Varma's comments replied, "You have an amazing sense of humour Ramu! Never shows up in your films though."  The two filmmakers have made their dislike for each other very obvious over time.

The other fights include those between Sunny Deol and Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan-Sanjay Dutt, Payal Rohatgi vs Dibakar Banerjee. But like they say, some patch-up and some don't.
