There is no dearth of creativity in actor-cum-director Ramesh Aravind.

After launching the music of his latest venture Nam Anna Don via a mobile network in a never-before-seen way, he went a step ahead for the promotion of the film.

Along with the team of Nam Anna Don, he organised a flash mob at Mantri Square, Malleswaram to shoot a song sequence as well as to grab the attention of the public.

For the first time in Indian cinema, the team attempted to capture live moments through a flash mob.

When everyone was busy shopping at the mall in the evening, a few boys gathered at the central atrium and performed various moves and b-boying acts.

The crowd started assembling there with a majority of them being kids. Soon, Ramesh took the stage along with the leading lady of the film, Mona Parvaresh, when the song Jumbalaka Jumbalaka from Nam Anna Don was played.

The live performance was captured for the film using five cameras. “That was fun, wasn’t it?,” asked Ramesh while addressing the gathering. “It is one of the three songs in the movie which was shot in a single shot. It is a dream song wherein the heroine dreams about the hero,” he said.

Soon the situation went out of control as people rushed towards the actors to capture photographs and get their autographs. The organisers struggled hard to control the massive crowd.

Later, the team addressed the media. Ramesh shared his experiences about promoting the film all over the State. “I used different ways to reach out to people. In the first phase, we visited most of the cities in North Karnataka.

The promotional activity began at Gulbarga where we used chariots to attract people. We visited an engineering college there and enjoyed singing and dancing with the students. Later, we headed to Bijapur and Badami and did a road show there,” he said. He mentioned that the team got good response at Mangalore, Hassan and Channarayapatna.

Mona Parvaresh said she was playing the role of a full-fledged heroine for the first time. “I have given my best in this film. It is all about healthcare. Hence, everyone must watch it,” she said.

Ravi Joshi is producing Nam Anna Don under the banner Lav Kush Productions. Sanathani, Raju Thalikote, MS Umesh, Achyuth Kumar and others are also a part of the cast. The team will be heading soon to Hubli and Davanagere for promotions.
