'No post for BSY till he is absolved of charges'

Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa will not be given any position in the party until he emerges clean of the corruption charges made against him, said BJP Rajya Sabha member Venkaiah Naidu.

He was addressing the mediapersons after inaugurating the shooting of the movie ‘Shirdi Sai Baba’, starring Telugu actor Nagarjuna, at Karadigudda (SN) near Badami in the taluk on Thursday.

Yeddyurappa will be given a ‘respectable’ position in the party only if the court gives him a clean chit in the corruption charges levelled against him, he said.

Naidu was all praise for Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda for giving good administration, but refused to comment on the internal bickerings in the party.
