Youth stabbed to death over robbery

A 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death while being allegedly robbed at Jahangirpuri in north west Delhi on Sunday, police said.

The deceased, identified as Ravi, works for a band that plays at weddings.  The police were informed on Monday morning that Ravi was found injured. He died before the police reached the spot. There were multiple stab wounds on his body.

A case has been registered at the Mahendra Park police station.  Police said the motive of the murder could be robbery, because Ravi’s mobile phone and several other items were not with him. Ravi’s family said he was missing since Sunday night. They had searched for him but could not trace him.
