At least 23 people were today killed and 19 others injured when a bus collided with a truck here, police said.
The incident took place near Haveli village in Oncha area when the bus, carrying over 36 passengers from Rathrea village, collided with the truck, they said.
The passengers were on way to attend an engagement ceremony at Bagwala village in Etah district.
While 18 people died on the spot, 24 injured were rushed to a hospital where five succumbed to their injuries, police said.
