Former minister and AICC Member Suma Vasant has demanded expulsion of Ministers Lakshman Savadi and C C Patil who brought disgrace to the Assembly by watching pornographic clipping in the Assembly.

She has demanded expulsion of Krishna Palemar from ministerial post too for having facilitated the two to watch the clipping.

Addressing a news conference on Wednesday, she said that resigning from the post of Ministers is not enough but the trio should also step down from position of MLAs. She said that if they do not resign voluntarily then Government should send them home.

“While the Udupi rave party’ incident was still fresh, such an incident happened in the Assembly. This too is against our culture and with this incident BJP Government which has been making tall claims about culture and tradition has lost its credibility to talk about the same,” she said adding that there is no permission to even read newspaper inside the Assembly but these people have taken the liberty to watch pornographic clipping in the Assembly.

“The honour of the Assembly is at stake. The Speaker and the CM have to safeguard the honour of the Assembly by ousting the three out of the Assembly immediately,” she said calling it a bad luck of the district as Krishna Palemar is the District in-charge Minister of Kodagu.APCC Member K P Chandrakala among others were present.
