<p>The Lokayukta police trapped a police constable while accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000 on Monday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Mylari, an autorickshaw driver and a resident of Nagarbhavi, had complained to the Lokayukta police that T B Parthasarathy, a constable at the Cottonpet station, demanded a bribe of Rs two lakh, failing which he would be implicated in a case. Parthasarathy later settled for Rs one lakh. <br /><br />Two instalments of Rs 50,000 and Rs 30,000 had already been paid. As Mylari did not want to pay the rest, he approached the Lokayukta.</p>
