Three people were killed when a car collided head on with a motorcycle at Gyarahalli village on Arsikere Road here on Saturday.
The deceased are Chandan, 27, of Shantinagar in the town, who was travelling in the car and bike riders Lokesh, 24, and Rangaswamy, 22, of Byadarahalli village. While Chandan died on the spot, Lokesh and Rangaswamy died at a Hassan hospital.
Minor injuries
Chandan and his brother, Chetan, were on their way to Moodanahalli to pick up their mother, Susheelamma, who works as the head mistress at the government school there. Chetan, who was driving the car, sustained minor injuries. A case has been registered at the Rural police station.
