Haddin dropped: CA

Cricket Australia (CA) chief executive James Sutherland confirmed that wicket-keeper Brad Haddin has been dropped from the ODI side due to poor form.

Sutherland also said that he was disappointed with the confusion surrounding Haddin’s status, since the player was aware of the situation and has had regular dialogue with selectors.

“We’re not comfortable with the level of uncertainty and public discussion on this particular matter.

“The really important thing though for us, and the real focus in recent times has been on  the players and perhaps that area of improving for the public’s benefit just needs to be touched up on as well,” Sutherland told reporters here on Friday.
