Four held for plotting murder

CCB police thwarted an attempt to murder a rowdy by his rival gang members. They arrested four persons and recovered a countrymade revolver, lethal weapons and a car from them.

The suspects are Mahesh (28) of JP Nagar, M S Harish (23) of Kanakapura, L Mahesh (23) of JP Nagar and K B Vinod Kumar, of Sathnur.

On a tip-off, the police arrested them at Suddaguntepalya in Mico Layout area recently when they were allegedly planning to murder a member the rival gang, Jaraganahalli Sanjeev.

The suspects and Jaraganahalli Sanjeev were friends a few years ago. They parted ways
following differences over a real estate issue. The suspects then decided to murder Sanjeev.

Jaraganahalli Mahesh is a rowdy-sheeter at JP Nagar police station. He is allegedly involved in two murder cases in Sathnur and JP Nagar, one attempt to commit dacoity, four attempts to murder and one assault case in JP Nagar.

Another suspect Harish is allegedly involved in a murder and an attempt to murder
cases.

Mahesh alias Mental Mahesh is a close associate of Jaraganahalli Mahesh and is allegedly involved in rowdy activities in J P Nagar and surrounding areas.
