Poojashree top seed at home ITF event


Former national champion Isha Lakhani has been seeded third while veteran player Rushmi Chakravarthi is seeded fifth.
Delhi's southpaw Sanaa Bhambri is seeded sixth while Sweta Solanki, Shivika Burman and Treta Bhattacharyya are the other Indians in the fray.

Japan's Anastasia Malhotra is second-seeded.
"I have been playing in ITF for the past two years. This is the first time I am playing in my home town. I am going to play my best," Poojashree, ranked 456 in the world, said.

The singles winner would take home USD 1,568 and the losing finalist USD 980 and the title sponsor are QuestNet India, the Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association (KSLTA) said.
