The minimum deposit amount is Rs 10,000 while additional amount of deposit will be accepted in multiples of Rs 1,000. The rate of interest is 11 per cent, 11.5 per cent and 12 per cent for a period of one, two and three years respectively. In the case of cumulative deposits, interest will be compounded on a quarterly basis.
