The brand ‘Reliance Trends’ has always appealed to the common man. Quality clothing at an affordable price is the mantra that ‘Reliance Trends’ follows. In its latest ‘Spring Summer’ Collection, one can find everything from bright casuals to gorgeous Indian and fusion wear that one will be spoilt for choice.

Beating the heat

The latest collection has something for everybody and every occasion.

‘Vibrant’ is the one word to describe the collection. The bright colours are apt to beat the Bangalore heat.

“The vibrant colours are making a comeback this season. So one will find a lot of yellows, blues, greens, pinks and more this season,” says the spokesperson of Reliance Trends.

The women’s wear this season has been inspired by the lightness and brightness that the season brings with it. The colours used for the western wear are fresh tones like pink, lemon and aqua.

“It is a complete feminine line which does have sparks of attitude. We have also tried to bring in an element of shine to the tees this time for that extra bit of glamour,” adds the spokesperson.

Apart from western or casual wear, a lot of youngsters tend to go in for a fusion look. “One can go in for floral printed mid-length tunic and team it up with either denims, capris or even jeggings for a cool contemporary fusion look,” says the spokesperson.

One can really see a whole lot of floral prints and embroidery fitted seamlessly into the Indian wear. “Modern silhouettes give a peppy twist to the kurtas,” says the spokesperson.

The men’s wear, however, has been inspired by the practicality of everyday life. One can find an array of sports, casual to formal wear for men.

“Comfort is the key to any good outfit. And that’s what one will find in this collection as well,” adds the spokesperson.

A pair of denims forms the base for any casual look. At the same time, one can go for crisp shirts and pair them with formal pants to get a more professional look.

“There is no separating men from their love for sports. That’s why we have a collection that is exclusive for sportswear,” says the spokesperson.

Anoushka Mudbidri, I year BSc, Christ University, went for a fusion wear. She teamed a mid-length printed tunic with blue jeans, a perfect combination for college.    

Punchline: “I love the vibrant colours and the brand has a good collection of college wear. Not only is it reasonable but also stylish.”

Dimpu Sagar, III year BE, RGIT, chose from the ‘active wear’ collection. In blue and grey hooded sweatshirt and black shorts, Dimpu was all set for the next football match.

Punchline: “Being an avid sports fan, I love the look given to me. It’s really comfortable and brings out the team spirit in me.”

Joseph Jeffrey, IV MTech, IIT(B), was all for keeping it casual. Opting for dark blue jeans and white printed tee, Joseph completed his look with a checked shirt.

Punchline: “The collection makes you want to experiment and think outside the box. I like the colours and the fit is very comfortable. I think this is a perfect outfit for a Sunday brunch.”

Dimple Goel, III year BCom, Surana College, chose the traditional look. She wore red knit churidar with printed blue kurta and red cotton dupatta. Comfort was the key to this look.

Azharuddin, IV year BE, KNSIT, teamed his checked red and white shirt with formal pants from the ‘smart formal’ collection.

Punchline: “Looks like checks have made a comeback. I had never tried checked shirts before. The combination that I’m wearing is great for any formal occasion.”

Navneet Kaur, III year BCom, Surana College, wore pink ‘over-dyed’ jeans with white and pink printed tee. The flower in her hair added a feminine touch to the look.

Punchline: “Pink is my favourite colour. I generally don’t wear western casuals but this look makes me feel at ease and I love the fit as well. I can wear this to college and also to party.”Price:  T-shirt: Rs 399, Jeans: Rs 899
