The holiday has been declared under the Negotiable Instruments Act, and hence banks too will come under its purview. Besides, a two-day mourning has also been announced.
However, some City schools, including the Clarence High School, sent SMSes to parents on Thursday that the examinations would continue on Friday as scheduled although there wouldn’t be classes.
