JOIN USAccurate clinches Kanteerava Cup
Accurate, ridden by S Hussain and trained by S Narredu, clinched the Kanteerava Cup over 1400 metres, the feature event of the races held here on Saturday.
Accurate finished the race in a time of 1:25.99, while Gluteus Maximus, PS Chouhan up, finished in second four and three-fourth lengths behind the winner.
Favourite Tomsk put on a poor display and could only manage a third-place finish.
In another race, Speedy Girl, ridden by Nirmal Singh and trained by S Narredu, ran way with top honours in the 1200-metre Bugs Bunny Trophy. Union Jack finished second while tipped Meghalaya came in third.
