Mumbai Marines played out a 2-2 draw against Delhi Wizards in their World Series Hockey match here on Sunday to join Sher-E-Punjab and Bhopal Badshahs at the top of the table.

The Marines came from a goal behind to take the lead before the Wizards got the equaliser at the fag end of the match to share the honours to take their points tally to seven from six games.

The result left Marines, Punjab and Badshahs tied with ten points each after six games apiece.

Both the goals for the Wizards were notched by their drag-flicker Vikramjeet Singh, in the 12th and 67th minutes.

For Marines, Devinder Walmiki struck a penalty corner goal in the 25th minute to bring them on level terms before a fine field goal by Sandeep Michael in the 45th put them 2-1 ahead before Wizards drew level with three minutes to go.

Chandigarh Comets fought back from a goal down to notch up a dominating 3-1 victory over hosts Pune Strykers in their seventh match.

Chandigarh, who had three wins and as many losses so far, scored through Sukwinder Singh (12th minute), Gurjinder Singh (41st) and Llyod Stephensonn (51st) after Pune’s Mario Nicolas Almada had put them ahead in the 11th minute.

Pune had plenty of home support and their first goal in the opening quarter when Mario scored through a field goal only raised the expectations. However, Chandigarh hit back quickly, Sukwinder Singh netting the equaliser in the next minute.

Six minutes into the third quarter, Gurjinder converted a penalty corner to help the visitors lead 2-1.  Ten minutes later, Stephensonn scored another field goal to seal the match.
