MIT to host Tech Tatva from September 8

Addressing a news conference on Thursday, Dr Mishra informed that confirmation has been received from over 200 participants from within the State and from other states. The organisers are expecting a bigger turn out of students this year in comparison to previous years, he said.

Student Council President Bhaskar Varun Prasad K said that the organisers have chalked out various new programmes for this year. Vitruvius, for instance is a new category which entails product designing, designing of personal space and other events which challenge the creativity and imagination of the participants. 

There will be seminars and workshops by eminent personalities from the technical domain.
All events carry cash prizes. Some of the events which are popular and expected to be a lot of fun are: Avishkar, Board Room, Lakshya which is being sponsored by Philips BOP, Flying Machine etc. In the Vitruvius category, there will be four events: Product Design, Intelligent Automobile; Trash Techie, Design of a personal space and No Bond.
Avishkar will have the highest prize money. This event attracts the best of the engineering and business talents from across the spectrum and will be a five-day event .
