Kingdom of Dreams, India’s first and biggest live entertainment destination hosted a soiree with Shaan on the occasion of the launch of ‘Jhumroo’, a new musical comedy show.

The concert not only had great music but also brought alive the magic of the legendary Kishore Kumar. One of India’s best known anchor-singers today, Shaan has hosted popular television shows like Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs, Star Voice of India in both its seasons apart from lending his voice to popular numbers like Behti Hawa sa; O Humdum Suniyo Re; and Dil Leke among many others.

This time he was called upon to revive Kishore’s golden era on March 25Jhumroo is the second musical presentation by Kingdom of Dreams, with an exclusive compilation of more than 20 songs from Kishore Kumar’s exceptional repertoire.

Scheduled to begin on April 5, the show has enough twists and turns in its plot to captivate everyone in the audience. It also makes innovative use of technology in what could be considered one of India’s most advanced theatres in terms of stage setup, lighting arrangements and acoustics.

A self-professed fan of Kishore Kumar, Shaan is one of the most versatile and accomplished singers today and credits the legend as one of the biggest inspirations of his career. As a tribute to his legendary predecessor, Shaan rendered Kishore Kumar’s evergreen songs in his inimitable style. “Ever since the day I visited Kingdom of Dreams I have always wanted to perform here and now the wish has come true. The fans are lively and brought out the best in me.”

Shaan mesmerised the audience with fabulous songs like ye jawani hai deewani, kabhi alwida na kehna and mi hu jhum jhum jhum jhum jhumroo.
