Acharya said the Governor held a discussion with him over the law and order issue on Monday evening. “He (the Governor) told me that he now has no displeasure with the Government,” he added.

The Governor further asked Acharya to direct the State cabinet ministers not to react strongly over his statements. “The Governor said there is no dispute or confusion on any issue and that he will extend full cooperation in running the Government,”he claimed.
On the issue of resignation of Social Welfare Minister D Sudhakar, Acharya said the Governor had written to the CM only to look into the issue and asked to take an appropriate step. The Governor had written to the CM in response to the Congress party submitting a memorandum to him on the issue, he pointed out.
‘Inform us’

Meanwhile, Law Minister Suresh Kumar on Monday urged the Governor to inform the government beforehand, if he has any comments on the government’s functioning.
In a letter to the Governor, copies of which were released to the press, Suresh Kumar said that Bhardwaj’s comments on the law and order situation had baffled the government.
He said the Governor had every opportunity to seek a clarification from Home Minister V S Acharya, who kept him updated about the latest happenings on a week-to-week basis. “The statements by a constitutional authority should reflect the actual situation, and also should not be prejudicial to the interest of another constitutional functionary,” he said.
