The International School of Management Excellence (ISME) held its
convocation ceremony recently at the Vivanta by Taj, Whitefield.

The atmosphere was replete with excitement, happiness and anticipation as the parents and near and dear ones of the students were present at the function. The ceremony also witnessed a panel discussion on the topic ‘Corporate Experience: Managing Social Media and Use of Analytics’ by eminent speakers from the corporate world.

The programme began with a welcome speech by the director, who congratulated the outgoing students. Bagging the ‘All-rounder’s Award’, Seepica Singh, a
student, said, “I am overwhelmed at this moment. The institute has always given us a platform to perform and I have been trained here to face the challenges of life with fortitude and faith. It is indeed a delightful moment.”

A proud Kolluri Pratusha, another student, felt that her hard work had paid off. “It is a wonderful feeling to have completed my degree. My efforts have finally borne fruit.

But this is just the beginning. There is still a long way to go.” She added, “My parents are really happy. Thanks to my well-wishers, I have come so far.” Malathi and Swetha echoed, “It has been a great experience. Now that we have come to the end of the course, we feel that we have been groomed to meet the industry standards. It’s a moment of pride for us.”

For Mayur Kulkarni, it was a solemn occasion. “I’m flooded with memories of the time I spent here. There is so much that we have learnt besides academics. I’m going to miss college life,” he said.

The event came to close with a vote of thanks by principal Swaroop Reddy.
