<p>The International School of Management Excellence (ISME) held its <br />convocation ceremony recently at the Vivanta by Taj, Whitefield. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The atmosphere was replete with excitement, happiness and anticipation as the parents and near and dear ones of the students were present at the function. The ceremony also witnessed a panel discussion on the topic ‘Corporate Experience: Managing Social Media and Use of Analytics’ by eminent speakers from the corporate world. <br /><br />The programme began with a welcome speech by the director, who congratulated the outgoing students. Bagging the ‘All-rounder’s Award’, Seepica Singh, a <br />student, said, “I am overwhelmed at this moment. The institute has always given us a platform to perform and I have been trained here to face the challenges of life with fortitude and faith. It is indeed a delightful moment.” <br /><br />A proud Kolluri Pratusha, another student, felt that her hard work had paid off. “It is a wonderful feeling to have completed my degree. My efforts have finally borne fruit. <br /><br />But this is just the beginning. There is still a long way to go.” She added, “My parents are really happy. Thanks to my well-wishers, I have come so far.” Malathi and Swetha echoed, “It has been a great experience. Now that we have come to the end of the course, we feel that we have been groomed to meet the industry standards. It’s a moment of pride for us.” <br /><br />For Mayur Kulkarni, it was a solemn occasion. “I’m flooded with memories of the time I spent here. There is so much that we have learnt besides academics. I’m going to miss college life,” he said. <br /><br />The event came to close with a vote of thanks by principal Swaroop Reddy. <br /></p>
