The district administration had banned the vehicular movement between September 3 and 12 from Hassan district border to Gundya Check Post to allow National Highways to go ahead with the work. However, ban on vehicular movement is likely to be extended due to the delay in resuming the work.
Speaking to Deccan Herald, National Highways Executive Engineer Krishne Gowda said that on Tuesday, the rain has subsided and the work will be resumed from Wednesday.
