An unidentified man gave Delhi police a sleepless night on Wednesday after he made a call to the police control room, telling them that he had planted a bomb inside a Delhi Transport Corporation bus at Paharganj in central Delhi.
When police officials reached the spot with a bomb disposal squad, they found it was a hoax call.
But to surprise, they found a sheet of paper with wires stashed in box inside the bus.
It read, “I know who killed Aarushi Talwar and I will expose the accused very soon.”
“We received a call around 10:30 pm on Wednesday. A man made the call and said he has kept a bomb inside a DTC bus. When our team with bomb disposal squad reached the spot, we found a box with electric wires on it. A paper was kept along with the box in which the person wrote that he knows Arushi’s killers and will expose them soon,” said a senior police officer.
Police are trying to trace the caller. His phone is switched off.
