This platform that she has created will bring forth curated performances that will showcase her limited editions.
Aptly, this time she hosted a kathak dance recital to portray her flamboyant anarkalis and saris. Tunics, kurtis and Indo-Western wear also were smartly represented through special choreographies by Madhu Nataraj and her ‘Stem Dance Kampni’.
It was duly ensued by a brisk sale. The clothes were put on show for the invitees to see, touch, feel and buy. This treat of Indian women’s wear; very beautifully cut and adorned with traditional embellishments and indigenous fabrics are a prized possession. The event was organised by ‘Shift — it happens’.
