HDK warns of 'trouble politics'

Replying to a felicitation organised by District JD(S) unit here, he said: “There is a limit to our patience. We know how to do peaceful agitation as advocated by Mahatma Gandhiji.
“But, if the government fails to respond to our demands, we have the experience of doing ‘trouble politics’ too. We will create a situation, which will make it difficult for the state government to organise Dasara festival in Mysore. Even the farmers are fed up with the government and are ready for any kind of agitation,” he added.

The former chief minister  added that many leaders in the past have developed a chill in their spine whenever the people of Mandya launched an agitation. “If all the legislators of all the districts from Bangalore to Mysore join the agitation, the BJP government will not be in power even for a minute,” he threatened.

When Kumaraswamy recently threatened to launch a hunger strike protesting against neglecting Ramanagaram district, Chief Minister Yeddyurappa had reportedly said: “Let him do that, it will improve his health.”
Referring to this statement, Kumaraswamy said, “The CM will have to pay a heavy price for this kind of attitude in the coming days.”
