Man stabbed to death in wee hours

 A 35-year-old man was stabbed to death at his house by unidentified assailants in Sagarpur area of south west Delhi, police said on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Dharam Narayan. He was sleeping at his Shivpuri house when somebody knocked at the main door at around 4.30 am on Saturday.“Nayaran’s wife claims that when he opened the door, the assailants stabbed Narayan and fled from the spot,” a police official said.

His wife raised an alarm and neighbours rushed him to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

The official also highlighted that it seems to be a personal enmity related incident.

“Collection of samples and fingerprints from the spot have been done and further investigation is underway. We are probing the matter from all possible angles,” the official added.

A case of murder under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered over the incident at Sagarpur police station. 

Property dispute

In a separate incident, a 25-year-old man was killed over a property dispute between his relatives and their tenants in Bhajanpura area of north east Delhi. 

Aadesh Kumar, a property dealer, stayed with his family at Saroli village in Uttar Pradesh.

 He was visiting the house of his relatives --Arun and Bhola--  who stay at C-block in Gamri, when the incident took place at around 10.30 pm on Saturday. Arun and Bhola have five shops at K-25, Krishna Market in Gamri, which have been rented out.

“Three of his tenants had entered into an argument with Bhola over the issue of the latter forcing them to vacate the shops. The argument turned ugly and in the melee Aadesh was shot in his abdomen,” another official said.

“Aadesh was trying to protect Bhola from the assailants, but unfortunately lost his life,” the official added.

The person who fired at Aadesh has been identified as Dharmendra. Police have registered a case of murder and have launched a manhunt.
