The employees of the Bangalore office of the German-based company Software AG Foundation, sponsored and volunteered at a medical camp recently. The employees joined hands with Samridhdhi Trust and Youth for Seva and the objective of the camp was to offer free medical consultation to the mothers of the children studying at Thubarahalli Bridge School, also managed by Samridhdhi Trust.

The school caters to the educational needs of the children of migrant workers.
An enthusiastic team of twelve from Software AG volunteered at the Bridge School.

This involved registering the details of the women who came in for consultation, guiding them to the doctor and dispensing medicines and explaining the dosage to the patients.

Doctors from nearby hospitals participated in the camp. The team from Software AG also ensured follow-up treatments, prescribed for some of the patients, were also paid for and facilitated. The interaction with the community dwellers was an eye-opener for many of the volunteers.

Overall, it was a enriching experience for all the employees during the camp.
