Sakala in Ch'nagar: 3377 applns received

Under the Karnataka Citizens’ Services Guarantee Scheme implemented by the State government recently, 3,377 applications have been filed in the district and 1,993 of them have been addressed and disposed up to Tuesday.

The government has brought 151 services under various departments under Sakala to ensure services to the people within a stipulated time.

According to the information provided by the district administration on the Sakala website, Ayush; women and child welfare; and education departments have not received any applications. No officer has been asked to pay a fine for delaying services to the citizens.

A majority of the applications received (2884) were addressed to the revenue department,
which handles 24 services, and 1,624 have been disposed.

On Tuesday, 543 applications have been received throughout the district and 176 have been disposed.

In Chamarajanagar taluk, among 1,418 application 661 have been disposed. In Gundlupet taluk 373 applications have been disposed among 636, 79 among 258 in Yalandur taluk and 880 among 1,065 applications in Kollegal taluk.
