JOIN USThe State Police has come out with a uniform format to simplify the procedures related to police verification. The prescribed format can be downloaded from the Karnataka Police website - www.ksp.gov.in/home/citizen/
forms.php or the Bangalore police website - www.bcp.gov.in/english/forms-index.htm.
The fee for police verification can now be paid at BangaloreOne Centers in Bangalore, Hubli-DharwadOne, BellaryOne, BelgaumOne, GulbargaOne, ManagaloreOne, MysoreOne, ShimogaOne and TumkurOne centres.
The fee can also be paid on BangaloreOne portal www.bangaloreone.gov.in using credit cards and debit cards. The applicants will have to pay the service charge prescribed by respective credit card providers. A service charge of Rs five will have to be paid at BangaloreOne and DharwadOne centres while it is Rs seven at rest of the KarnatakaOne centres.
All the requests for police verifications will be accepted on the Police IT network and a 15-digit acknowledgement number will be issued to the applicants. The initiative is in line with the policy of the government of simplifying the procedures to enable delivery of services to the citizens in an easier and speedy manner, according to a press release.
