First endorsement

Kamal Hassan is all set to take up something that he has never done in his five-decade-old career which began when he was three years old. He will take up brand endorsements and has signed up exclusively with a celebrity and talent sourcing and management firm.

“I have signed up with Alliance Media & Entertainment Pvt Ltd because it is known to provide excellent strategic counselling to several celebrities. I look forward to yet another first — that of a brand endorsement — in my creative life, and to keep doing my bit for society,” quips Kamal. It is known that Kamal Hassan has converted his legions of fan clubs into social service organisations.

Sunil Doshi, founder and managing director, Alliance Media & Entertainment Pvt Ltd, says, “Kamal Hassan has certain plans for his work in social service. But he is also unwilling to rely on external sources for funding those plans. Therefore, he feels that endorsements with leading companies and brands that have a strong commitment to society and causes would be an appropriate and independent means of fulfilling his
vision.”
