Demand to repair roads in Bagepalli

Addressing the protesters, general secretary of the district unit of the Vedike, Chandrashekhar who is also councillor said that all the roads in the town are filled with potholes putting the road users at risk. Water fills in the potholes during rainy season and people are falling into such pits. The pits on the roads have become the root cause of several accidents.

In-charge Assistant Engineer of Public Works Department, Narasimhamurthy, who arrived at the spot said that the work on filling the potholes has begun. Asphaltation of the roads will be taken up in two days he clarified.
