The police arrested him near a garden in Cox Town while he was trying to sell LAD.
Raju’s mother was an Iranian national, while father is a Bangalorean. Raju completed his education till PUC in Tehran and had returned to India and had got into leather bag and shoe business.
He would frequently visit Mysore, Chennai, Mangalore, Shravanabelagola and Goa. He came in contact with a few foreigners in Goa and bought LAD with them.
He would sell the same in Bangalore and to high profile parties in other cities.
