<p>In a gruesome incident, 16 persons, including three children, were killed and several others were injured when a mango-laden lorry in which they were travelling turned turtle near Mahendramangalam in Tamil Nadu on Sunday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Sources said that more than 24 agricultural labourers were travelling on the lorry which was proceeding from Palacode towards Krishnagiri when the mishap occurred about 52 km from here around 8 PM.<br /><br />Police explained that there were 43 people on the vehicle totally and some of them sustained minor injuries. The injured have been hospitalised.</p>
