The doctors who tested an elderly woman allegedly raped by a gang of three, have referred the viscera for forensic science laboratory (FSL).
It’s only then the police would be able to confirm whether it’s a case of rape or not. The swab collected during the test and also viscera during post-mortem both will be sent to FSL, according to sources.
The 75-year-old woman of Vijayanagar had alleged rape in April and was admitted at a hospital, where she died after some time.
According to doctors, she died of cardiac arrest.
The investigating police have continued search operation for the accused.
